Skyler Cocco is a New York born, rising indie-pop singer, songwriter and producer based in Los Angeles.  She began writing and producing music at the age of eleven on a digital 8-track and taught herself guitar, bass and piano by ear to record her songs. Cocco blends synth-pop, dream-pop and alternative rock beneath melodic, soulful vocals to create her unique sound.  Hook driven and anecdotal, Cocco draws listeners in through glimpses into her musical and personal journey as a twenty-something queer woman.  Her song “The Drive” caught the attention of synth-pop act MUNA when Cocco submitted the original demo to Splice’s The Inbox: MUNA competition in May 2020 and was selected as the competition winner. With the encouragement of one of her favorite bands, “The Drive” was released on September 25th to praise and support from the likes of UPROXX, idobi Radio, Splice, VEVO and The Line of Best Fit.
